🎶 Main Concert in Piazza Santa Croce
The heart of Florence’s New Year’s Eve celebrations will be Piazza Santa Croce, hosting a large evening concert organized by the City of Florence in collaboration with Fondazione MUS.E and Sky. The festivities start at 9:00 PM and continue until 1:00 AM, featuring live performances and DJ sets. Artists performing include Paola Iezzi, Tiromancino, Franco126, and SARAFINE, alongside emerging talents LAYANA and TOMASI from X Factor 2025. The event will open and close with a DJ set by Lele Sacchi, hosted by Leo Di Bello.
🎷 Music and Performances Across Other Squares
The celebrations extend to other iconic locations in Florence:
- Piazza Santissima Annunziata: Gospel Symphony – Florence sings in the New Year, a gospel concert accompanied by the Florence Chamber Orchestra.
- Piazza del Carmine: a night of jazz, featuring swing music and live improvisation.
- Piazza della Signoria: the midnight countdown and a spectacular video projection on the facade of Palazzo Vecchio as part of the Florence Lights Up project.
📍 Practical Information
All main square events are free and open to the public, though capacity limits may apply. The City of Florence will activate the Municipal Operations Center (COC) for safety, and regulations will be in place banning glass containers and fireworks in public areas.
